- 'That's My Name' is a tool which adds a Chooser name to the Mac a user is
- working on. The idea is that print banner page will have a real name on it,
- instead of a generic name. 'That's My Name' comes as an application as well
- as an extension.
-
- This program should be used in a lab environment where file sharing is
- disabled and the workstations are not private machines. It's similar to the
- Responder by Apple but ask the user each time the machine is started up.
-
- It is important that the users shut down the Macintosh once they're done
- with it.
-
- RevRDist users: If RevRDist is running as an extension, The 'That's My
- Name' extension should run after RevRDist has updated the system files.
- Otherwise use the '◊ That's My Name' application which should run after
- RevRDist.
-
- 'That's My Name' is © Copyrighted 1994 by Klaus Berkling. Using 'That's My
- Name' is free for schools and universities, please send my a postcard, though.
- All others please contact me for license and pricing information (address
- below).
-
- I'll be happy to hear from anyone regarding new ideas and/or bugs reports.
- Currently I'm working on a larger utility that will not only perform the same
- function as 'That's My Name' but also use AppleShare compliant file servers
- to authenticate users.
